Privacy Policy

Operator and scope

Muhammad Awais, a sole trader in Pakistan, operates AnswerProbe and is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. We do not sell personal information.

Account and authentication data

We process your email address, authentication provider, password credential in hashed form where used, verification and recovery records, secure session records, account activity, support communications and versioned evidence of optional email choices. Google receives information when you choose Google sign-in under Google's own terms. AnswerProbe never stores your Google password.

Website and brand-profile inputs

We process the website, target market, brand description, products, categories, customers, buyer needs, aliases, competitors and corrections that you submit. Before signup, a website and market may be held briefly in an encrypted, essential first-party intent cookie. No website fetch or personalized analysis occurs from that public intent alone.

Requested AI and search processing

When you request and approve the relevant action, AnswerProbe may send bounded website context, brand context or approved buyer questions to configured AI and search providers. DataForSEO supports controlled answer observations. OpenAI processes minimized text through its Responses API for requested extraction, classification, suggestions and explanation tasks. We limit the information sent to what is needed for that operation.

Optional OpenAI model-improvement sharing

Private processing is the default. When preparing setup questions, an opted-in workspace owner can separately review and approve the exact first-party input for that generation request. Reports, website extracts, raw answers and semantic review stay private.

Ordinary AI processing is routed through a separately configured OpenAI project excluded from input/output sharing for model improvement and training. If that route cannot be verified, model processing is unavailable rather than sent through an unknown sharing project. Existing customers are not opted in automatically.

In Settings, the workspace owner may separately and affirmatively permit eligible public profile text and approved buyer questions, and the resulting suggestions, to be shared with OpenAI for model improvement and training. This requires permission to share the material and confirmation that it contains no sensitive, confidential, proprietary or unauthorized third-party information. Public accessibility alone is not permission. Raw provider answers, third-party page extracts, account email, authentication, payment details, secrets and private strategy are excluded. We retain the exact choice, wording, version, time and actor as permission evidence. Each question-generation approval also records the displayed material and complete request hash, expires after 15 minutes, and is checked against the current choice before dispatch.

Declining has no effect on access or price. Unknown, withdrawn or ineligible choices use the non-sharing route. Permission is checked again before eligible calls and retries; caches and background jobs cannot infer permission from a previous request. Optional sharing uses separate project credentials. Complimentary tokens, when available to AnswerProbe, do not change customer charges or authorize additional data sharing.

You can withdraw in Settings for future requests; requests already sent may finish. Withdrawal does not guarantee removal of information already incorporated into model training. We send Responses requests with storage disabled and do not create hosted agent sessions, containers or traces for these operations. OpenAI may retain abuse-monitoring logs under its applicable data controls, generally for up to 30 days unless a different requirement applies. This is not a promise of Zero Data Retention. Prompts, answers, citations and reports

We store approved prompt versions, raw AI answers, citations, provider metadata, timestamps, availability states, classifications, reports, recommendations, feedback, usage and operational records. This preserves the evidence and versions needed to explain a report without rewriting historical observations.

Purposes and legal grounds

We use information to authenticate users, run explicitly requested work, create reports, enforce limits, deliver transactional email, answer support requests, prevent abuse and operate the service. Depending on the context, processing is necessary to provide the service, comply with law, pursue legitimate security and product interests, or act on consent where law requires it.

Optional promotional email

Tips, product updates and occasional offers require a separate optional choice that is off by default. We retain the exact wording, version, purposes, source and time needed to evidence an affirmative choice and later withdrawal. You can change it in account settings. Operational messages and product access do not depend on this permission, and an AnswerProbe choice does not authorize messages for another product.

Measurement, attribution and cookies

AnswerProbe uses essential cookies and storage for secure sessions, saved theme preference, consent choices, short-lived onboarding intent and core functionality. First-party operational measurement records bounded lifecycle facts and version references without storing prompts, answers, evidence or comments in analytics events.

With your optional consent, a first-party acquisition session may store normalized campaign fields, a landing path, referrer classification and bounded advertising click identifiers for up to 90 days. We do not store arbitrary query parameters or complete referrer paths for attribution.

Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity session replay and Google Ads conversion measurement are configuration-gated and off by default. When separately enabled, they load only after the corresponding choice on approved public pages. Clarity content is strictly masked. We do not use remarketing, Google Signals, enhanced conversions, Customer Match or cross-device identity.

Your measurement choices

Optional analytics, session replay and advertising measurement are denied by default and can be changed or withdrawn from Privacy choices in the footer. Withdrawal stops future optional loading and clears vendor cookies that AnswerProbe can remove. Global Privacy Control disables all optional categories. We retain a minimal, versioned record of the choice without an IP address or complete browser user-agent string.

Quality-assurance and simulated activity

Owner quality assurance, automated fixtures and any future simulated customer activity are explicitly classified and excluded from launch, customer-validation, acquisition, conversion and revenue-attribution reporting. Simulated feedback is never presented as independent customer feedback.

Billing providers

Paddle acts as merchant of record and processes payment details, tax, receipts and billing identifiers under its own terms. AnswerProbe stores the customer and subscription identifiers required to provision and manage access, but does not store full payment-card details.

Retention

Sample raw observations are retained for at least 90 days. Paid report history is retained for up to 12 months while subscribed. Anonymous acquisition sessions and raw advertising click identifiers use a configurable bounded retention period, initially 90 days. Authentication, audit, billing and support records may be retained longer where needed for security, disputes, accounting or legal obligations. We delete or anonymize information when it is no longer reasonably needed.

Security practices

We require encrypted transport, restrict production credentials to server-side deployment configuration, hash password and one-time credentials, rate-limit sensitive actions and enforce workspace authorization. No method can guarantee absolute security. Keep sign-in links private and contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

Service providers and international processing

We use hosting and database infrastructure, Resend for transactional email, DataForSEO for controlled observations, configured AI providers for requested processing and Paddle for billing. These providers may process data in other countries under their own safeguards and contractual obligations.

Access, correction, export and deletion requests

You may request access, correction, a practical export or deletion of personal information, or object to or restrict certain processing where applicable. Requests remain subject to identity verification and legal, security and operational retention requirements. Send requests to support@answerprobe.com.
